A holster is what we know commonly as a belt, but in this special case, to carry the bullet cartridges. According to the story it seems that the holster is of European origin but later became more popular in Mexico, and the old American West. As for the shape of the cartridge belts are some features like those used in Mexico, plus another cross to the chest as a belt or the typical American western belt and only 1 or 2 Revolvers.

Already in the nineteenth century the most common material for leather production was, later produced on canvas and now we can find a little of everything.
