Scimitar, child size in gold or silver. Reproduction of a sword was wielded most emblematic in the Iberian Peninsula during the Arab invasion. The gentle curve of the design was intended to cut the enemy to the race horse. Scimitar voice seems to come from the Italian branch of the shams scimitarra Persian, and served in the West to refer to any Muslim or Eastern curved saber.
